The typical light unit contains 10 super bright LED’s, which are powerful enough to illuminate and area of 9sq meters or 93 sq feet.
Can be activated either by its ON / OFF switch, located on the light unit or by the supplied remote control and will provide light for up to 3 hours per day.

The Solarman 1 Lighting Kit is supplied with a 5 watt crystalline solar panel, roof or wall fixing kit, one 12 volt energy saving LED bulb, ceiling or wall bulb holder with wall switch, 5 meters of cable, connectors, fuses and detailed instructions. The solar system takes around 1 ½ hours to install and needs no special tools.
A battery is required and is not supplied Just add a car or caravan battery to complete the installation and get free electricity from solar power. A 75 or 85 Ah car / caravan battery is recommended, available from most motoring / caravanning shops, or order with together from us.
The SM1 illuminates an area of around 16 sq meters. Ideal for smaller buildings such as the average garden shed, summer house or single stable. Solar Mate addresses the problem of illuminating remote areas where no mains power exists and can be easily and safely installed by anyone with no special tools required. SM’s solar panel will collect enough energy during the course of the day to power its bulb for between 5 and 7 hours every day of the year (5 hours in the winter – 7 hours for the rest for the year)

The SM2 delivers twice the power and brightness as SM1, making it suitable for a workshop, larger stables,greenhouses, agricultural buildings etc. Its twin long life bulbs illuminate an area of 32 sq meters.

SM4 is a lighting kit in a box! Where mains quality lighting is needed in remote locations, such as workshops,stables, summer houses, garden offices, garages, sheds etc SM series is the answer. SM4 4 LED will illuminate an area of 60sq meters for up to 8 hours per day.
Exempt from Part P of the Building regulations, Solar Mate can be easily and safely installed by anyone.
